Classwork
In today’s classes students were given instruction on how to draw a map profile for a selected are of a topographic map. After watching me demonstrate the technique on the classroom’s activeboard, students were given topographic maps of an area new Damon Mound, Texas with which to practice the various topographic map reading skills we have been working on in class.

Help Session
Help sessions are scheduled for Wednesday afternoons. Any student needing help understanding a concept, having to make up work, or simply looking for a place to do their homework, should plan to attend.
Upcoming quizzes and tests
A topography quiz is currently scheduled for Thursday, January 19th and the mapping unit test is slated for the following Wednesday of the 25th of January.
